I had been working on another design, and I was intrigued with the travelling moss stitch. I wanted to try this design on a hat, and I must say I love it! It is so fun to knit and watch the moss stitch change position on the hat. This pattern is both fully charted and fully written. You can choose to use either or.
This Winter Joy hat pattern comes in 6 different sizes from Baby – Adult Large.
Circumference:
Baby: 14” (35.5 cm)
Toddler: 16” (40.5 cm)
Child: 17” (43 cm)
Adult S: 18” (45.5 cm)
Adult M: 19” (48 cm)
Adult L: 20” (51 cm)
This hat was designed with Knit Picks Swish Worsted weight yarn, however, another similar yarn will work.

Child: 110 yrds / 100 m
Adult S: 120 yrds / 110 m
Adult M:130 yrds / 120 m

Needles: 5 mm (8 US) or size required to meet gauge
