Normally, you will work the C4LP with a cn using the instructions below.
C4LP: (Cable 4 Left Purl): Place the next 2 stitches from left needle on a cn and hold to front of work. Purl the next 2 stitches from left needle. Knit 2 stitches from cn.
However, this cable is an easy cable to knit without a cable needle. As long as you can drop stitches and then pick them up. It is easier than you think!
