Looking for a challenging cable knit that will keep your knitting brain on its toes? You will enjoy the challenge of this hat and cowl set and LOVE the result!

Both of these patterns come with a chart as well as a written pattern.

Hat:
This hat is knit from the bottom up. The band has a seam, but the top is completely seamless.

The hat depicted in the picture was knit with Vanna’s Choice solids. However, any worsted weight yarn will work.

This hat comes in 4 sizes:
X-small – 17” x 9½” 43.2 cm x 24.1 cm
Small – 18” x 10 ½” 45.7 cm x 26.7 cm
Medium – 19” x 11” 48 cm x 27.9 cm
Large – 20” x 11 ½” 50.8 cm x 29.2 cm

This hat was designed with worsted weight yarn. The yarn depicted in the picture is Vanna’s Choice. However, any worsted weight yarn will work.

Amount of yardage required: 150 ( 175, 200, 250) yards

Needles: 2 x 5 mm [8 US] needles
6 mm [10 US] circular needles
4 x 6 mm [10 US] dpns
1 cable needle

Gauge: 18 stitches x 24 rows = 4″ x 4″ in stockinette stitch

Cowl:
It is knit from the bottom up, in the round and is completely seamless. This pattern comes with a chart as well as written instructions.

This cowl comes in 4 different sizes:
Finished width x length:
X-small: 10” x 8 ½” [25.4 cm x 20.8 cm]
Small: 11” x 9” [27.9 cm x 22.9 cm]
Medium: 12” x 9 ½” [30.5 cm x 24.1 cm]
Large: 13” x 10” [33 cm x 25.4 cm]

Finished circumference:
X-small: 20” [55.9 cm]
Small: 22” [53.3 cm]
Medium: 24” [61 cm]
Large: 26” [66 cm]

Gauge: 16 stitches x 26 rows = 4″ x 4″ in seed stitch
