This Afghan was the Mystery Knit Afghan for 2019.  It is now all compiled together in one pattern with 7 sections.

We are combining two of our favourite stitches to create another unique and spectacular Afghan. The theme this afghan is Cables and Lace. A seamless knit afghan with multiple sections of cables and lace. The afghan was originally written as a mystery pattern, so is divided into sections. Each section bringing a new challenge and excitement! It will be difficult to put down. Honestly, we have found this is the best way to start and finish a full size afghan! Since we have started the MKAL’s, we have actually completed the afghans! Plus, no boredom of knitting the same stitch over and over again.

You can choose one of three sizes:

Standard Size Afghan 48” x 60” (122 cm x 153 cm )

Bonus Size 60” x 72” (153 cm x 183 cm), or

Lap Blanket Size 36” x 45” (91 cm x 114 cm)

Colour Palettes

We have chosen KnitPicks Simply Wool Worsted for this afghan.  Checkout our colour palettes here.

Needles:

5 mm (8 US) long circular needles

This pattern is written as well as charted.

We recommend the Chinese Waitress Cast on for this pattern. See a video tutorial on how to knit the Chinese Waitress Cast on here.
