This cardigan is knit from the top down, raglan style. It is completely seamless! Enjoy very few tails to weave in at the end of your knit, as well as no seaming!
This cardigan features the wicker stitch down the front, sleeves and also the back. It adds a very unique and classy look to this cardigan. Knit Adult Madyn’s Cardigan for yourself, and the Little Madyn’s cardigan for that special little girl in your life!

Cascade Yarns 220 Superwash
Any worsted weight yarn will do!
Little Madyn’s Cardigan
This Cardigan comes in 9 different sizes:
(Chest circumference – 2” – 3” positive ease built in)
NB: 16” (40.5 cm)
3 mths: 18” (45.5 cm)
6 mths: 19” (48.5 cm)
12 mths: 21” (51 cm)
2T: 23” (56 cm)
4 yrs: 26” (63.5 cm)
6 yrs: 28” (68.5 cm)
8 yrs: 30” (77 cm)
10 yrs: 31” (78.5 cm)
Gauge:
18 stitches x 26 rows = 4″ x 4″ in stockinette stitch
Amount of yarn required:
200 (275, 300, 350, 400) 500, 550, 600, 650 yards
You will need 5 mm (8 US) circular needles. You will also need 4 dpns to work the sleeves, unless you are using magic loop. You will need longer circular needles to use magic loop for the sleeves.

5 mm (8 US) circular needles
Knit Pro Circular
Gauge:
18 stitches x 26 rows = 4″ (10 cm) x 4″ (10 cm) in stockinette stitch
Also need:
8 – 9 buttons
Tapestry needle to weave in ends
Tape measure or ruler
2 markers of one colour
4 markers of one colour for sleeves
2 markers of one colour for back
8 markers of a different colour for cable markers
