The Diagonal Stitch and Little Explorer’s Sweater

written by KnotEnufKnitting July 8, 2016

Our popular Little Explorer’s Sweater features the intricate diagonal stitch, learn how to knit this stitch in the video below. I’ve had many questions on how to knit the diagonal stitch. I’ve answered those questions in this video! Follow along the step-by-step and you’ll have this stitch mastered in no time!

I have quite a few sweater designs for little girls, but not so many for little boys. Little Explorer’s Sweater was designed with a little boy in mind! However, it is adorable on a little girl as well. I wore it on my baby girl and received many compliments. đŸ™‚ The intricate look of the diagonal stitch gives it a look all its own. The diagonal knit stitch can look very daunting. It is a more advanced stitch, but once you find your rhythm, it is actually quite quick! I sure enjoyed knitting this sweater, and I know you will too!

Here’s a link to Little Explorer’s Sweater so you can check it out yourself!

Testimonials

"This is officially my favorite knitted project (and that’s over 10 years of knitting!)"(Joy Cardigan)

"This sweater pattern is easy, pretty, fun to knit, and looks so professional! Even picking up stitches which isn't too easy for me, she makes it easy to do! It's great, can't wait to finish it and begin the hat that goes with it. Lara is patient and answered all my questions and dealt with my frustrations!" (Little Elsa's Sweater)
