Do you want to learn to knit the 1/1/1 LPC without a cable needle? If you are like me, I am always looking for an easier way to knit cables. I don’t like using cable needles as they can be cumbersome and I feel that they slow my knitting down. Thus, I have learned to work most cables without a cable needle. Some of them are a little more complicated than others, but I find that they are easier than using a cable needle.
The instructions for the 1/1/1 LPC (left purl cross) are as follows:
1/1/1 LPC – place next 2 stitches on cn and hold to front, knit 1 stitch from the left needle, place the last stitch from cn back to left needle, purl this stitch from left needle, k1 from cn
This cable can be knit using a cable needle, however, it can also be knit without a cable needle. I have created a video tutorial to illustrate how to knit the 1/1/1 LPC without a cable needle in an efficient method.
