I designed a beautiful Joy Christmas Pillow Cover quite a few years ago. I have always wanted to design more pillow covers with words. A while ago, a knitter asked me to design a LOVE pillow and PEACE pillow. I finally took the time to design and knit this beautiful pillow cover. The Peace Pillow will be coming later.

The beautiful cable design compliments the word ‘LOVE’ running vertically down the right side of the pillow. Watch the letters immerge as you knit! The cables were designed to create little hearts running up the left side of the pillow.

This pillow it knit in the round from the bottom up. Provisional cast on is used and then the bottom of the pillow is sewn together using kitchener stitch. Otherwise, if you do a regular cast on, you can sew the bottom of the pillow together.

This pattern comes in 1 size. The finished pillow fits a standard throw pillow – 18” x 18” (45.5 cm x 45.5 cm).

A flap is knit at the top of the pillow and fastened at the back with 6 buttons.

This pattern is both written and charted.
