The Autumn Cable Scarf was the Mystery Knit Scarf of 2025. It was an amazing 16 week knit. However, this pattern has now been combined into 1 pattern.
This scarf has 16 different cable sections. Each section is knit off the first. Each section is 4” (10 cm) x 8” (20.5 cm). At the end, you will have a 64” (162.5 cm) long scarf, AND the scarf will be a seamless knit!
Yarn: This scarf was designed with Knit Picks Swish worsted weight yarn. However, any worsted or aran weight yarn will work. Or you can use up some of your left over yarn.
Yardage: Each section will use approximately 40 yards for a total of 640 yards. This scarf can be knit with multiple colours.
Gauge: 18 stitches x 26 rows = 4″ (10 cm) x 4″ (10 cm) in stockinette stitch
Needles: 2 x 5 mm (8 US) needles or small circular needles
