I designed My Simple Blanket knitting pattern for Knit Picks. This pattern will be featured in their 12 Days of Gifting 2025. I am honoured to have my design chosen for this event.
My simple blanket is an easy knit for the beginner knitter. The design is still interesting, creating a unique and beautiful blanket. Knit with Swish, this comfy and cozy blanket is perfect for those cool winter days.
This blanket features a garter stitch border along the bottom, top, and both sides, as well as between each section. The blanket features six sections, with two alternating simple patterns that are easy to memorize.
This blanket is knit from the bottom to the top. Alternating colors could also be used; each color would require half the stated yarn quantity.
This pattern comes fully written and fully charted.
Sizes:
Stroller: 28.5″ x 36.5″ (72.5 cm x 93 cm)
Lap: 36″ x 48″ (91.5 cm x 122 cm)
Gauge: 18 stitches x 26 rows – 4″ x 4″ (10 cm x 10 cm) in stockinette stitch
