Learn how to knit the Central Double Decrease (CDD) to use in your knitting projects. This is a 3 stitch decrease in which the center stitch is on top of the decrease. This is an easy decrease to learn and use!
CDD: (central double decrease) – slip 2 stitches together knitwise, k1, then pass slipped stitches over the knit stitch.
I have created a video tutorial to illustrate how to work this CDD.
This decrease is used in Clue 1 of the Mystery Knit Afghan 2026.
