Song of Love (Hers)
The brim of this hat is knit flat first. The top of the hat is knit in the round by picking up stitches along the brim. The top of the hat is created with 4 different sections. This makes this hat unique!
Skill Level: Intermediate. Should have experiences working with cable stitches.
This hat comes in 4 different sizes: (Allow 3″ for stretch)
6 – 12 yrs – 18” x 10” [45.7 cm x 25.4 cm]
Small – 19” x 11” [48.3 cm x 27.9 cm]
Medium – 20” x 11½ ” [50.8 cm x 29.2 cm]
Large – 21” x 12” [53.3 cm x 30.5 cm]
The yarn depicted in the pictures is Vanna’s Choice Worsted weight yarn. Any worsted weight yarn will work. You can use a light worsted weight yarn, but you may be happier with the result if you use a heavy worsted weight.
Amount of yarn required: 200 (250, 275, 300) yards
Gauge: 18 stitches x 24 rows = 4″ x 4″ in stockinette stitch
Needles: 5 mm [8 US] circular and flat needles or size needed to get gauge
1 cable needle

An interesting, challenging knit that keeps you on your toes! This hat has a mix of interesting stitches to create a unique design!
This hat comes in 4 different sizes. Allow 3” (negative ease) for stretch.
6 – 12 yrs – 18” x 9” 45.7 cm x 25.4 cm
Small – 19” x 9 ¼ ” 48.3 cm x 27.9 cm
Medium – 20” x 9 ½” 50.8 cm x 29.2 cm
Large – 21” x 10” 53.3 cm x 30.5 cm
This hat was designed with Vanna’s Choice Worsted weight yarn. Any brand of worsted weight yarn will work.
Amount of yarn required: 120 (140, 150, 170) yards
Gauge: 18 stitches x 24 rows = 4″ x 4″ in stockinette stitch
Needles: 5 mm [8 US] circular hat needles
You will also need 4 dpns or a long circular needle to work magic loop at the top of the hat.
