They are both knit with a heavy worsted weight yarn. The yarn depicted is Loops and Threads Impeccible Solids.
Hat:
This hat comes in 4 different sizes: (width x length). Allowing 3″ for stretch.
6 – 12 yrs – 18” x 10” [45.7 cm x 25.4 cm]
Small – 19” x 11” [48.3 cm x 27.9 cm]
Medium – 20” x 11 ½” [50.8 cm x 29.2 cm]
Large – 21” x 12” [53.3 cm x 30.5 cm]
Yardage: 200 (250, 275, 300) yards
Gauge: 18 stitches x 24 rows = 4″ x 4″ in stockinette stitch.
Needles: 5 mm [8 US] circular needles or size needed to get gauge
4 x 5 mm [8 US] dpns
1 cable needle

This cowl comes in 4 sizes: (width x length). Circumference of cowl is double the width.
X-small: 10” x 8 ½” [25.4 cm x 20.8 cm]
Small: 11” x 9” [27.9 cm x 22.9 cm]
Medium: 12” x 9 ½” [30.5 cm x 24.1 cm]
Large: 13” x 10” [33 cm x 25.4 cm]
