This hat was designed with Worsted weight yarn. The yarn shown is Loops and Threads Impeccible Solids. However, any heavy worsted weight yarn will work.
This hat comes in 4 different sizes: (width x length). Allowing 3″ for stretch.
6 – 12 yrs – 18” x 10” [45.7 cm x 25.4 cm]
Small – 19” x 11” [48.3 cm x 27.9 cm]
Medium – 20” x 11 ½” [50.8 cm x 29.2 cm]
Large – 21” x 12” [53.3 cm x 30.5 cm]
Yardage: 200 (250, 275, 300) yards
Gauge: 18 stitches x 24 rows = 4″ x 4″ in stockinette stitch.
Needles: 5 mm [8 US] circular needles or size needed to get gauge
4 x 5 mm [8 US] dpns
1 cable needle
